Winter in Collingwood // Family

I generally only shoot in Toronto but when this sweet family reached out to book a session in their home near Collingwood, it just so happened that I had a family vacation planned and was staying only 20 minutes away! Baby was only 3 weeks old, which was perfect for newborn lifestyle photos and her big sister was keen to take part so it was a lot of fun!

This was my last official booking in 2020. It was early March. We knew about COVID-19 but it felt far away, not yet a global pandemic. The Scandinave Spa in Blue Mountain was still open! We were dining indoors at amazing restaurants. Then a week later, when we returned to Toronto, we were in full locked down and people were fighting over toilet paper! What a crazy time. Happy to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and fingers crossed photographers in Ontario will be able to resume business as usual soon!
